Robert Fusco

Robert joined UCB Ventures as an Associate in January 2026, where he supports sourcing, evaluating, and advancing investment opportunities aligned with the team’s mission to bring meaningful therapies to patients. He brings more than six years of experience across early-stage R&D roles at Ring Therapeutics, Editas Medicine, and Enanta Pharmaceuticals. He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, where he also served as a Senior Fellow in the Office for Translation and Commercialization, evaluating and positioning emerging technologies from academic labs. His research background spans protein engineering, drug discovery, virology, and cell and gene therapies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology from McGill University. Robert is based in the Northeast US (Boston & New York).
